Exciting New Era on the Horizon as Redwood Restructures

Exciting New Era on the Horizon as Redwood Restructures

17 March 2025

The restructure sees the formation of Redwood Group Holdings Limited, which will act as the Group’s holding company and will oversee all strategic direction and operational matters. Redwood Group Limited has been renamed Redwood Compliance (Guernsey) Limited and Redwood Group (Jersey) Limited becomes Redwood Compliance (Jersey) Limited.

It’s business as usual for our clients, but the name changes have been actioned to better reflect each business’ individual activities.

Over the past 18 months, we have focused on developing our operational platform and resources, allowing us to expand from a small business to an SME with over 40 staff. During this period of growth, we have recruited a Head of HR and IT Manager in Guernsey and have plans for more recruitment across the Group in the first half of the year.

We have also seen increased demand across all business lines, and particularly from clients looking to plug resource gaps and resolve temporary issues with a variable cost model, rather than recruiting. In particular we have seen increased demand for our ‘white-label’ solution for larger organisations to support them deliver services to their clients. The organisations retain all interface with their clients and this works well.

Last year, we were excited to launch our new office in Ireland, taking our reach beyond the Channel Islands for the first time. The success of our business model has also seen us develop client relationships across new territories, including the UK, Belgium and Bermuda, as we continue to attract interest from more multi-national organisations.

James Wood, Chief Executive, said: “We are thrilled to share news of Redwood’s new restructure as we position ourselves to capitalise on an unprecedented period of expansion.

“We have invested heavily in our team and are proud of our growing reputation as a leading compliance, governance and corporate services provider. We are excited about continuing on this trajectory as we expand our operations and expertise across all the jurisdictions we service - this restructure reflects that commitment.”

“We remain firmly focused on exceptional client service, and our new structure means we can improve our operational efficiencies, streamline our functions and further enhance our services to existing and future clients.”

Tracy Bisson, Managing Director, Compliance, said: “The restructure is such an exciting new chapter for Redwood and particularly the Compliance team. We’ve enjoyed supporting a growing number of clients across various jurisdictions with their compliance needs. The new structure better reflects our service offering, giving greater clarity to our clients and enabling us to better promote ourselves.”

Sinead Murray, Managing Director, Ireland, said: “Following Redwood Ireland’s launch last year, I’m proud to be part of this positive new era for Redwood as we grow and identify new business opportunities here. I’m pleased with how our profile is increasing and this restructure will support us in promoting Redwood to Irish clients while delivering the high quality service expected from us.”

Redwood Group is thrilled to announce that we have restructured as we look to capitalise on growth, improve operational efficiency and better promote our client service offerings to our ever-increasing client base.
