Introducing the RedGood Community Grant: Empowering Positive Change in Jersey and Guernsey
5 August 2024
Supporting Local Initiatives Year-Round
The RedGood Community Grant is a testament to Redwood’s unwavering commitment to the communities of Jersey and Guernsey. Open throughout the year, this grant invites islanders to apply for financial assistance to cover costs associated with their community improvement projects. Whether it’s funding for a local charity’s programme or resources for an individual’s grassroots initiative, the RedGood Grant is here to help.
A Quarterly Review for Maximum Impact
Applications for the RedGood Community Grant will be reviewed quarterly by the RedGood Panel, a diverse team of Redwood staff members. This process ensures that a wide range of voices contribute to the decision-making, reflecting the diverse needs and aspirations of our community. Successful applicants can receive up to £2,000, providing a significant boost to their efforts.
James Wood, Chief Executive of Redwood, expressed his enthusiasm for the new initiative:
“As a business, we’ve always been passionate about supporting charitable initiatives in Guernsey and Jersey, where Redwood operates. Over the years, we’ve donated to several local causes and we’re proud to support our staff with their individual fundraising efforts. However, we wanted to offer a solid foundation for individuals and charities to access the funds needed to achieve sustainable, long-term success.”
James highlighted the importance of the RedGood Community Grant in fostering a stronger, more resilient community:
“We’re looking forward to supporting the causes that matter the most to islanders and helping to make a difference to our local communities, both now and into the future.”
