Catherine Pigeon

Catherine brings with her over 25 years of compliance experience, having most recently held the position of Chief Risk Officer.  She has led initiatives in compliance, risk, and governance frameworks, enhancing efficiency and responsiveness.  Catherine has developed and implemented comprehensive risk and compliance policies, standardised procedures, and has led digital transformation initiatives.  Her expertise includes creating data protection frameworks and client risk profiling, ensuring robust standards across business operations.  Catherine's experience extends to participating in board meetings and regulatory visits, providing guidance and support and holding named roles (MLRO, MLCO and CO).  She also held directorships in previous roles, including Compliance Director.

Catherine is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“FCCA”) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”).  

Outside of work Catherine is a keen golfer although has not yet perfected her swing.  Catherine has two very cute border terriers and will often be out in the lanes with them or cycling on her bike.
