James Wood

As the Chief Executive of the Redwood Group, James brings extensive experience in compliance, regulation, and risk management to the table. He currently leads the efforts of the senior management team to ensure that practitioners continue to deliver market-leading services to clients.

James is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company and ensuring that all business lines are aligned with this vision. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Compliance (ICA) and is a certified Accounting Technician. He is also a member of the International Compliance Association.

Prior to joining the Redwood Group, James had a successful career in the finance industry, serving as a Senior Manager for an international auditing firm and heading up regulatory compliance teams for a stockbroking and investment management firm. He also previously worked as a Senior Analyst for the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and an internal auditor for the States of Guernsey. James has over 20 years of experience in compliance, regulation and risk, making him well equipped to lead the company's efforts towards delivering top-notch services to clients.
