Sinead Murray

Sinead has 17 years of financial services experience, including 12 years in tax and advisory teams in Big 4 accountancy practice and 5 years in industry. She's a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor, having trained and qualified with KPMG in Dublin. She moved to KPMG Guernsey to manage a large asset management client completing short-term secondments in London and New York.

 

Sinead advised leading alternative asset managers in international tax, transfer pricing, governance, compliance and substance matters. She specializes in cross-border structuring of fund platforms, deal-level structuring, and buy/sell-side due diligence. 

Recently an Executive Director at Capitalworks, a South African private equity manager, Sinead oversaw cross-border tax, regulatory and corporate governance, managing strategic and operational aspects. She served on the boards of several investment entities and contributed to strategic initiatives and investment strategies, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis. Throughout her career, she has focused on designing and implementing high-quality corporate governance policies and practices.

 

After spending 13 years in Guernsey, Sinead returned to Ireland in 2022 and joined the Redwood family in 2023.
